Recovering in Cuzco

We are back in Cuzco recovering from our Inca Trail hike. Since the last post this is where we have been...
1 April: Arrived at Ollantaytambo
2 April: Visited Ollantaytambo ruins early morning then bus to Kilometre 82 for the start of the hike. Day 1 of hike.
3 April: Day 2 of hike. A tough climb up 1.2 km in altitude to Dead Woman Pass then a hike down to major campsite.
4 April: Day 3 of hike. A less taxing walk to the second pass and then more level walk to the third pass and a camp near the top.
5 April: Day 4 of hike. Mainly downhill to Machu Picchu. Arrive at Machu Picchu around 3 PM and then bus down to Machu Picchu Town.
6 April: Early morning tour of Machu Picchu and then afternoon train back to Ollantaytambo to pick up luggage and finally bus back to Cuzco.
